Allan

I was devastated when I heard you died and grieved heavily in that my true friend has gone. I miss you Allan! I felt sad that you did not fulfill your dreams in your life on Earth being hindered by many things. I was equally sad that you did not reach the three score and ten years of age. Apart from the grief I rejoice in that my Christian brother is now with the Lord and that you are complete in Him. I admire your simple Christian faith and strong stance in the Lord. No one could take that away, you had a hope in the resurrection of the dead and because of that hope you will be rewarded with a crown of eternal life in Christ. Congratulations Allan. I can see your grin and laugh that is so friendly, giving and non-judgmental. I admire your friendly approach to all people putting out a handshake, smile or hug to anyone who would take it. Your strength for striving for peace with those who may be not be in harmony is commendable. I thank God for your continuous prayers for me and my family and friends. I thankyou for your honesty, I can fully say that you are trustworthy. I honor you for giving financially and sacrificially to people and charities. In your own little ways your life reflects an unselfish lifestyle that strived for higher goals as a Christian. I have certainly benefited from the many chats we had whether it was 10minutes or 3hours. I regretted not spending more time with you because to put it simply you're great to be with Allan. I had plans to go over your place more often with more music (ye loved that blues/rock, hey Allan!). We had that in common we knew what rocked! We had plans to invite you over for more dinners and Ellenor bake you that huge tray of tuna slice that you loved, rubbing your tummy and licking your lips, yes it was delicious. I had more CD's and DVD's to give to you and I enjoyed making you happy as I knew that you would appreciate them. I remember many things like the bike and side car, your joys, your sadness, your hope of people to receive Jesus as their personal saviour. Life on Earth sometimes can seem at times very cruel and painful but Allan as the scripture says in Heaven there will be no more pain, crying or mourning. I believe that you're now living free and happy, singing to your hearts content. I'm so happy for you Allan. I'll see you in Heaven my friend!....
