Water baptism is a symbolic gesture to God that you are dying to your old ways, lifestyles and thinking. I take great advantage of sharing the word with everyone who gets water baptised to explain to them what it means and what it can do for them - basically it is between them and God.

To stay away from religious tradition here I explain that I am going to pick you up 1,2,3 and throw you in and that is how it is done. Shock horror is the usual response and I get a good laugh out of it, as I am only joking.

People get baptised in many different places, beaches, pools, rivers, bath tubs, anywhere where there is water and no crocodiles.

Before "dunking" people I always pray for them, when I share with them prior I explain that anything they want to get rid of in their life to write a list and ask God to help them deal in these areas, as they go into the water they die, when they come out they rise in newness of life. Many have been set free from addictions or fears through getting this message and being water baptised.

Water Baptism basically means nothing! But it can be if you want it to be! It is between you and God. Rodriguez believed God for a particular area in his life and within a week of being baptised noticed that the particular area of his life had changed Glory to God.

Well, there is always one clown in the group, I thought it was me but it turns out to be Rodriguez, on his exit of the pool he decides that it is that time of the week where I need a bath and dunks me.
