In the old days every
rally goer and campsite had their own fire. With droughts and insurances
etc today it has fizzled out many fires at rallies which were a
great attraction. So Rodriguez came up with the idea of making a
fire drum which was deep enough to restrain a large warm fire, caught
the ashes beneath and still gave us the freedom of having a fire.
It has been a great drawing card for many to visit our camp site. |

When the original Bikers 4 Christ
started, we were all married or single but had no children therefore
everyone had the opportunity to get involved. Today many have children
and can not be involved on rides unless it is a rally where a car
is taken. So we take a car which also backs up hauling a trailer
to take all of our camping gear so we can have the best, (we are
getting older) and we take all the luxuries of home. |

Once every 3 months
or so we have a Bikers 4 Christ BBQ where everything is supplied
for free. Usually we go to a large park where everyone can come
and bring children friends and whoever, this particular BBQ we had
33 people attend and the meat was supplied by a friend of ours Dallas
who we met when we were asked to help him with his bike and relational
problems. |
|
We had 2 BBQ's going full time
and a great day was had by all with the exception of the very cold
and windy conditions which was unusual for this time of year. A
few non Christians came along as well that ride with us on our mid
week rides. We have the BBQ's not only so families can come but
also those that are unsaved, BBQ's in Australia are a big draw card
for people. |
