Everyone still wet and cold and wet, the party is well under way with about 40 to 50 Bikers turning up (know who the real Bikers are now don't we H) and having a really good time.

Some of the Items up for the raffle and games etc as more were expected, so they waited till later when everyone had just a little too much to drink to get them try some hard tasks to win a prize. No, I didn't enter, had a sore back??

An hour and a half into the coldest part of the night, 2 of us, me and Wayne come up with a bright idea, a 44 gal drum a fire and presto lets get warm! Only took us another hour or so to get the wet wood going, but in the end it worked and we all started to dry out.

The names of mates that have ridden on before us have been added to the board, with Charmaine adding the first name, Grunt giving (well trying) to give a pep talk and then Roscoe encouraged everyone to remember the good times, the fun the laughter and the person for who they were, not that they were gone, but that we all had the opportunity to be their friends and are made all the richer for it..

Formalities all over and the party starts rockingharder, most have dried out bynow and the fire is going well, but hang on, it is only 7.30pm. Now is that a yawn by this young lady or a laugh, eveyone chatted, ate, drank, chatted, drank, mumbled, drank, mumbled, drank! Wow, forgot what it looked like to go to a Bikers party? It has been so long!

Yes, Yes, Yes, horrible pictures! I know, no I wasn't drunk, I only had 2 Rums to warm me up and then drank copius amounts of coffee, maybe that was the problem, too much caffiene? By now the shed at H's place is quite warm and the freindship of the Southern Cross Association spreads like wild fire.

No one is left out! Even me - a Christian, it was one of the best nights I have been to with a heap of Bikers for years. . Even though the extreme wet kept most of the members away on the night we all still made it a good night anyway! 100's were expected, only about 40 to 50 turned up but it didn't matter we had fun! Thanks for inviting me guys and God Bless.
